In 2010 we were contacted by Sarah’s Mum to solve a slippery problem: getting out and about in the snow with a wheelchair was proving difficult! Using traditional wooden sleds as inspiration, we designed a sledge with a supportive seat and harness built in so Sarah could go and join in with her friends and have fun in the snow.

The sledge proved so popular that we collaborated with our friends at Gordon Ellis & Co to launch our very first commercially available product.
After a deep fall of snow overnight we have eventually managed to get her outdoors on the sledge and she loved every second of it, even asking if we could take her out on it every day. Sarah’s Mum
