Our extensive library for parents and carers includes books on a wide variety of subjects that can help answer questions you may have about your child’s condition. In our children’s library we have books to be read with children or by older children. There is a mixture of fiction and non-fiction titles on all sorts of different topics including growing up and behaviour.
COVID-19 Toy Loan Changes
We are re-opening our toy library with a few changes to reflect the current situation.
You may still borrow one toy for 28 days free of charge, but for the time being, you can only go on the waiting list for one toy at a time.
We have brought in a cleaning regime to include all surfaces inside the boxes or cases and we are not reusing any packaging. For the time being we are not lending out the Sensory Sensitive Kits; the Lucky Dip Bags or the Bamba Baby Signing Kit.
Please bear with us if you are waiting to borrow a toy. Items are being quarantined on return, our cleaning process is more extensive and our Librarian is only working in the office for part of the week, which means we will not be able to turn around toy loans as fast as we did previously.
Please be aware it is very likely that our waiting list slots will fill up very quickly. If you or anyone is in your household has COVID 19 symptoms PLEASE DO NOT return any loaned items until you have had the all clear.
