Trusts and Foundations

We are very grateful for the support we receive from generous philanthropists. Whether these are from individuals, grant-giving Trusts and Foundations or members of community organisations such as Rotary, Inner Wheel or Lions, all of these play a vital part in our quest to support children with brain conditions and their families.

The difference you make

You can work wonders by funding our research which reduces the incidence of brain conditions and improve outcomes for those affected. We help provide vital support services for children with brain conditions and their families and fund research that improves the life opportunities they have.

In the UK today there are around half a million children and young people with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, learning disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and developmental delay.

The conditions can result in complex medical, educational and social support needs that also limit life participation.

Our work across all neurodevelopmental conditions, many of which occur together and/or share similar risk factors, behaviours and challenges, gives us a unique perspective within the charity research sector.

With your help we can:

  • Provide practical support and services for children and their families
  • Improve outcomes in pregnancy
  • Reduce pre-term births
  • Assist families with sleep issues
  • Develop innovative and creative new products
  • Fund ground-breaking research projects in many key areas

As one of our valued supporters we will work alongside you to ensure that your reasons for supporting Cerebra and your objectives from your funding are realised and you can experience the difference that your gift is making.
