Cerebra Family Research Group End of Grant Report

The research carried out by the team at Cerebra Family Research Group at the University of Warwick focuses on three big issues for families of children with brain conditions, specifically children with a learning disability and/or autism:

  • Exploring whether the same family factors that influence the development of all children affect the development of children with learning disability and/or autism.
  • How can parents and other family members can be supported to maximise positive developmental outcomes for their children with learning disability and/or autism?
  • Attempting to redress the balance for families of children with learning disability and/or autism.

This report looks at the impact of the research carried out between 2014-2019.
