Gerallt Devonald

Senior Design and Innovation Manager

Gerallt joined the Cerebra Innovation Centre in 2011 after graduating from the School of Art and Design in Cardiff. With over 14 years at Cerebra, he has recently taken on the role of Senior Design and Innovation Manager within the Centre. He takes great pride in using design to create thoughtful, practical solutions that support children with complex neurological conditions to live more inclusive, fulfilling and enjoyable lives.

Welsh by upbringing and strongly connected to the landscape, Gerallt is a keen amateur photographer with a passion for landscape, wildlife and macro photography. Much of his spare time is spent exploring the Pembrokeshire coast or hiking in areas such as Snowdonia and the Scottish Highlands.

Abigail Jones

Product Designer

Abi joined the Cerebra Innovation Centre in December 2021, initially working as a maker after studying Artist Designer: Maker at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She now works as a Creative Designer within the team, using her design and photography skills to help create thoughtful, practical solutions for the children and families we work with. Abi is driven by using her creativity for a good cause, and finds it hugely rewarding knowing her work helps others.

Originally from the Midlands, Abi has made South Wales home and loves the balance of sea and mountains on her doorstep. Outside of work, she’s happiest outdoors – whether that’s trips in her campervan, wild swimming, long walks, or getting out with her camera along the coast. She’s a creative at heart and enjoys everything from knitting to painting in her spare time.
