Our Toy Library has a variety of sensory toys for all sorts of different needs and Luca has been enjoying exploring one of our sensory boxes.

His mum Leah explained: “Luca struggled with exploring unfamiliar items and accessing suitable play materials to the point it is hindering his development and play skills. I was recommended Cerebra who from the first initial email helped me so much to identify what materials we should start with using and exploring as I felt so lost and unsure where to start after so many attempts.

Cerebra is also a free service which came in handy due to spending a lot of money on sensory resources that just wasn’t appropriate or accessed.

Luca enjoyed exploring the box and the brightly coloured items helped with gaining interest due to this being his big interest. By the end of the loan Luca managed to handle some of the textures and observed his older brother exploring them showing some interest which is a big improvement.

I’m looking forward to using Cerebra more as I just know how keen they are to help and the hard work they put in for families.”
