The latest news from our exciting new project designed to help families build positive relationships and activities within their family.

positive family connections

Positive Family Connections is a new online 6 week programme for families who have a child with additional developmental needs (learning disability, autism, or both) aged between 8-13.

Daniel Sutherland, a Cerebra funded PhD student working on the project, gives us a quick update on progress:

The project’s aim is to enhance positive connections between family members. Our relationships with those closest to us are key for the wellbeing of the whole family and that is no different when there is a disabled family member.

You can read more about the project here.

The project is being developed by our Research Partners at the University of Warwick.
