art | Coronavirus | together
It’s a very difficult and uncertain time at the moment. The Coronavirus pandemic has effected all of us in some way and the impact it has on the children and families we support has be immense.
Even though things have been difficult, it’s been amazing to see how everyone has come together to help those who need it and ease the emotional burden.
In this vein, we have decided to launch a new challenge as part of our “Together” campaign for children who may be struggling to find activities to stay entertained!
At the moment lots of young people’s routines will have been changed because of lockdown measures and this can cause stress and anxiety for both the child and parents. To help combat this, we would like to get young people to think about what “together” means to them and create some artwork to express this.
Even though we have to be apart for now, we are still in his together!
Their art can be through drawing, colouring or through any kind of craft – the only limit is their imagination!
We will be sharing a different piece of artwork on our social media channels every day – we want to make our channels as positive a place as possible!
Remember, once your child has finished their artwork, take a picture of the finished product and send it to us so that we can enjoy it! You can send it to [email protected] with the subject “Together”, send it in a direct message to us through our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages, or post it on your own page, making sure you tag us (@CerebraCharity for Facebook, @CerebraUK for Twitter and @cerebra_uk for Instagram). If you post it, be sure to use the hashtag #Together.
We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!
While they are busy, take a look at our Together campaign and get involved!
