If, as a carer you sometimes feel lonely, isolated and that nobody else in the world is going through what you’re going through, there’s some good news! The Challenging Behaviour Foundation have launched a series of podcasts to alleviate the problem – if only for a short while! The podcasts feature family perspectives on connecting with others, taking time for yourself, spending time together as a family and accessing carers assessments and respite. The series of five episodes is available everywhere you can access a podcast from, and as an added bonus there’s a contribution from Shaun Pye and his wife Sarah Crawford: Shaun wrote the amazing BBC series There She Goes based on their own experiences with their daughter who was born with a chromosomal disorder. You can find the podcasts here.
