The Government has removed plans for primary school children in England to return to school before the end of the summer break. The position now is that primary schools will be given the flexibility to decide whether or not children return to school before September.
The Government has also announced that secondary schools in England may not fully reopen until at least September. If you live in England and are worried about your child returning to school, Contact have a Freephone helpline where you can speak to an education adviser- https://contact.org.uk/news-and-blogs/government-drops-plans-for-full-primary-school-return-this-term-in-england/.
In Wales, schools are set to reopen for all year groups on 29 June. However, only a third of pupils will be allowed into school at any time.
