Sue Hay speaks eloquently about the trauma cycle I experience with services for my son who is aged 9, autistic / ADHD and presents behaviours that challenge. We are in a constant loop. We reach crisis then get discharged. She’s right, if you’ve had negative experiences it makes you more defensive.. You’re worried things aren’t going to work out. Your defences come up you’re expecting a “fight.”

If tears was money I would be a very rich Mother!
